Noted legal expert Whoopi Goldberg has single-handedly redefined the sexual assault statues in response to the recent arrest of degenerate movie director Roman Polanski.
According to Goldberg, often described as an advocate for women’s rights, prosecutors are no longer burdened merely with the task of proving “rape” beyond a reasonable doubt, they now must prove the additional circumstances of “rape-rape.”
The actual criteria for the charge of “rape-rape” are still murky, but they seem to mostly be things that Goldberg doesn’t think her Hollywood cronies would do. Certainly, although a talented movie director may be guilty of single rape, he is incapable of “rape-rape” guilt by virtue of good story boarding during Chinatown. Or something.
To Goldberg, it seems that “my body, my choice” applies only to abortion and not to a 13-year-old girl choosing whether or not a famous and powerful movie director can penetrate her mouth, vagina and anus, all of which were parts of the body last time I checked.
I’m seeing a lot of the “well, he never did it again” defense coming out of Hollywood. Apparently, there’s collective and selective amnesia about Polanski’s sexual relationship with Nastassja Kinski, who was 15 when it began.
And Huffington Post is trying to push the lie that the age of consent was 14 in California when Polanski committed his crime. The age of consent was 18 in California when Polanski raped his 13-year-old victim, and had been since 1913.
Polanski didn’t rape “a girl.” He raped this girl. He stole this young, fresh-faced 13-year-old girl’s innocence.
