Teabaggers repeatedly interrupted a speech given by Barack Obama on behalf of California Senator Barbara Boxer’s re-election bid last night.
No, not anyone affiliated with any national or local Tea Party organization. Checking the actual definition of the word (WARNING: Graphic) against the content of their interruptions, chances are those interrupting Obama were well versed and completely comfortable with the genuine art of teabagging.
Gay rights protesters interrupted President Barack Obama’s speech at a fundraiser for California Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) Monday night in Los Angeles.
Activists from a group called GetEQUAL began shouting at Obama while he was speaking at the podium. They expressed frustration over the slow progress of repealing the ban on openly gay people serving in the military.
The protests brought the speech to a halt, and the protesters did not lower their voices after others in the crowd urged them to end their shouting.
Damn teabaggers. And as a bonus, given recent history, it is entirely likely that these were actually accurately defined racist teabaggers.
For proof, let’s go back to the immediate aftermath of the 2008 Election in California, when these teabaggers were convinced the increased percentage of black people voting in the election was the deciding factor in approving Proposition 8, which protected legitimate marriage in California.
Geoffrey, a student at UCLA and regular Rod 2.0 reader, joined the massive protest outside the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Westwood. Geoffrey was called the n-word at least twice.
It was like being at a klan rally except the klansmen were wearing Abercrombie polos and Birkenstocks. YOU N*GGER, one man shouted at me. If your people want to call me a F*GGOT, I will call you a n*gger. Someone else said same thing to me on the next block near the temple…me and my friend were walking, he is also gay but Korean, and a young WeHo clone said after last night the n*ggers better not come to West Hollywood if they knew what was BEST for them.
Hmmm….more racist rhetoric at a pro-gay “marriage” rally than anyone has ever documented at a Tea Party.
