Guest hosting for Rush Limbaugh, columnist Mark Steyn has renamed Janet “The System Worked” Napolitano as Janet Incompetano.
Damn. Wish I’d written that. Hope it catches on.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told CNN’s Candy Crowley that “the system worked” when passengers were able to stop a foreign terrorist associated with al Qaeda who smuggled explosives onto an airliner from blowing himself and the flight up over Detroit on Christmas Day.

Multiple sources are reporting that Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano has been tapped by Barack Obama to lead the Homeland Security Department.
Her claim to fame, apparently, is blindly allowing a foreign invasion across the country’s southern border and deciding to punish the people who hire the invaders while allowing the invasion to continue without consequence to – or punishment of – the perpetrators. Other than that, her only apparent qualification for the job is having endorsed Barack Obama back in January and giving him a little credibility.
