We’ve spent the last few years focused on making sure Guantanamo terrorists are read their Miranda rights, so it’s like putting on a comfortable old shoe to learn that the man behind Border Patrol agents raiding a private Miami Florida residence under the cover of darkness and sticking a submachine gun in a 5-year-old boy’s face could soon be at the helm of the Justice Department.

Eric Holder, of Elian Gonzalez debacle and Mark Rich pardon fame, appears to be Barack Obama’s choice as the new Attorney General of the United States.

Oh, and par for the Obama course, he’s a gun grabber as well.

A failed media that refused to perform its most basic societal function and an ignorant electorate too blinded by idolatry to drill down beyond the headlines and investigate the man to whom they were entrusting their country’s future caused the mistake of electing Barack Obama as President of the United States.

The results show a stunning lack of understanding about the United States Government and the issues.

Independent Presidential candidate Dr. Alan Keyes and the leadership of the American Independence Party have filed a lawsuit to block California’s Secretary of State from certifying the state’s 55 electoral votes until Barack Obama provides proof of natural born citizenship.

Numerous lawsuits have been filed during the course of the campaign based on belief that Barack Obama was born in another country or has held citizenship with another country.  The Obama campaign admitted that Obama was once a Kenyan citizen, but claimed that citizenship lapsed when it was never positively affirmed.

Blogger Debbie Schlussel says she’s found discrepancies in Barack Obama’s Selective Service (Draft) registration.

The most compelling evidence is the Document Location Number (DLN).  On the form purported to be the original filled out by Obama in 1980, the 10-digit DLN begins with “08″ (0897060632) indicating the form is a batch printed in 2008 rather than 1980 as claimed (DLNs, apparently, begin with the year issued). When inputted into the computer system, the DLN now has 11 digits (80897060632), with an “8″ added to the beginning to give the impression of having been inputted in 1980.

There are also oddities with the postal stamp and the government’s willingness to release the information.

The post is long and detailed, but even if it’s true I don’t know that it matters much.  This guy and his minions will be in charge of the entire government in a couple months, and the current occupant of the White House doesn’t seem much interested in investigating his successor.  If the media didn’t care much about Obama’s relationships with Bill Ayers, Odinga or Khalidi, I can’t see them making much of these revelations either.

Despite a press conference centered around dog breeds and a slam against Nancy Reagan given from behind a podium bearing the name of a make-believe office, the uncouth and factually incorrect leak of a private conversation between the President and President-Elect, spokespeople running around talking about being ready to “rule,” appointing a chief of staff who mails dead fish to pollsters, appointing a UFO chasing nut job as transition co-chair, having to scrub every indication of what their plan going forward will be from their web site which was improperly given the .gov TLD, and giving Poland mixed messages on missile defense in the face of an increasingly aggressive Russia, Democrats are in the mood to pat themselves on the back on how gosh darned well the transition is going.
