While Bart Stupak was busy making his speech on the House floor telling everyone why they shouldn’t vote for his own pro-life amendment to the health care bill because the President had signed an Executive Order that has no power to protect anyone and will be struck down in court, someone can be heard to call him a “baby killer.”
The first time I heard it I assumed it was Stupak’s conscience. Then I realized that he’s a Democrat and doesn’t have one.

Phony pro-life Democrat Bart Stupak has caved and will now vote for Barack Obama’s government health care takeover for the price of a thin Executive Order that can be rescinded or negated at any time and does not have the power to overturn law.
I’ve seen it reported all over the web that wavering Democrat Congressman Bart Stupak’s vote on Barack Obama’s government takeover of health care (with public abortion funding) has basically come down to counting “Yes” and “No” callers who phone his DC office.
Everyone is engaging in serious vote counting, and by “serious” I mean “of questionable veracity and impossible to follow,” to try to figure out how the vote on Barack Obama’s disasterous health care package will go in the US House.
Self-destructive Massachusetts Democrat candidate for the US Senate Martha Coakley begrudgingly admitted to a radio interviewer that religious freedom is allowed by law, but said that Catholics who expect it shouldn’t seek jobs in emergency rooms.
