When you travel to Las Vegas, stay at the Venetian Resort. We owe Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam Ochsorn a solid no matter what happens.
After contributing $10 million to Pro-Romney SuperPAC Restore Our Future earlier this year, Adelson and Ochsorn have contributed another $10 million this month. In total, they’ve spent at least $61 million on saving the country from Barack Obama’s disasterous agenda this election cycle.
Adelson was an early and active supporter of Newt Gingrich, and needed to be persuaded to move his support to Romney after Newt dropped out of the primary race. Apparently, he was persuaded.
[T]he pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future raised more than $20 million during the first half of this month, according to a financial disclosure form filed with the Federal Election Commission Thursday.
The group had more than $36 million cash on hand, and spent $12 million, as of October 17.
The haul so far in October is almost as much as it raised in August and September combined.
The new contributions by the Adelsons bring the couple’s total to Restore Our Future to $20 million.
Restore Our Future launched a major swing state ad campaign earlier this week, buying almost $18 million worth of commercial time in 10 states.
