Barack Obama and the other unpopular Democrats in Washington DC are threatening to use the so-called “nuclear option” of reconciliation to force through their much- hated government takeover of the health care system. But back in 2005, when George W. Bush was President and Republicans were in control of Congress, top Democrats – including President Obama and Vice President Biden – railed against the “naked power grab” of a bare 51 vote majority in the Senate as a threat to Democracy.
