Failed President Barack Obama outlined his “new” plan for creating jobs and, unsurprisingly for a man who is out of ideas and over his head, the “new” plan is mainly a new stimulus consisting of more of the things that failed to create jobs as part of the old stimulus just 10 months ago.
And, in case you were wondering, the failure of the first stimulus, passed under a Democrat Congress and signed by Obama: All Bush’s fault.
President Barack Obama outlined major new government stimulus and jobs proposals on Tuesday, saying the nation must continue to “spend our way out of this recession.”
Without giving a price tag, Obama proposed a package of new spending for highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects, deeper tax breaks for small businesses and tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient.

Obama did not say how much his proposals would cost, although congressional Democrats are eyeing a $70 billion package to help create jobs and to provide aid to hard-pressed state and local governments. Administration aides suggested that the part of the package dealing with roads, bridges and other infrastructure could total about $50 billion.
Waiting for the Bush bashing?
Obama: In reality, the deficit had been building dramatically over the previous eight years. Folks passed tax cuts and expensive entitlement programs without paying for any of it – even as health care costs kept rising, year after year. As a result, the deficit had reached $1.3 trillion when we walked into the White House.
…and, seeing this massive troubling deficit, Obama of course had no choice but to quadruple it.
Don’t worry, though. He’s doing it all for the kids. And why not? They’re the ones that will ultimately get the bill.
The toughest letters are in children’s handwriting: kids who can’t just be kids because they’re worried after mom had her hours cut or dad lost his job and with it the family’s health insurance.
Let’s hope their handwriting improves before they need to sign the check that pays for Obama’s wasteful, reckless spending.
The jobs plan that would work would be to halt ObamaCare and Cap and Trade and slash Capital Gain taxes, removing uncertainty from the business environment and allowing job creators to focus on expanding their business and creating jobs.
