Obama Blasts Powerless Republicans For Health Care Stall

Barack Obama blamed Republicans relying on a “familiar script” for the sputtering failure of plans to socialize the health care system.  Plans in the Congress, where Democrats hold a majority on the House of Represenatives side and a super majority on the Senate side, have stalled.

Project much?  Talk about a “familiar script.” In the real-world’s reality, increasingly divorced from that of Barack Obama, no Republican can stop any Democrat legislation.  It’s all Democrats now.  The era of big government blaming Republicans is over.

Obama blasted the “familiar script” of Republicans who “have openly declared their intention to block healthcare reform.”

Republicans have lambasted Democrats’ efforts to pass healthcare reform, but they have noted that with comfortable majorities in both chambers and control of the White House, Democrats have the ability to pass their legislation.

The problem for Democratic leaders is that centrist Democrats have balked at what has been proposed, threatening to reject the bills if they are brought to the House and Senate floors.

Obama’s own failed, damaging policies have put everything else in disarray.  He owns it now.  Republicans are powerless – they can’t do anything.

Obama is gonna use the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ slogan to promote his health care fiasco.

Don’t Ask … cause no one knows the details anyway…

Don’t Tell … cause then the public would REALLY be freaked out.
