Despite a rumor that is rapidly pinging across the Internet, a representative for Patrick Swayze tells People Magazine that the actor / singer is alive and relatively well.
The Dirty Dancing / Ghost star was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008, and told by doctors that the disease had spread to his liver last month.
Swayze and his wife, actress Lisa Niemi, have been married since 1975.
