Hey, remember the past eight years, when President George W. Bush was the world’s biggest terrorist, and a chimp, and an idiot, and a killer, and a war criminal, and functionally illiterate, and a Nazi, and mentally handicapped?
Well, it seems the left has developed a sudden disdain for name calling. And, you guessed it. The new rules only apply to Barack Hussein Obama (Ooops – apparently calling him his real name is also vicious, vile name calling). and, of course, it’s all raaaaaaaaaacist.
Just look at the videotapes of the angry, hateful hordes attending these rallies – screaming that Obama is a socialist; that he’s both a Muslim and a terrorist as proven by his “bloodline” and his name; that his supporters are “commie faggots”; that he’s guilty of treason; underscored by increasing racial invective and even punctuated in one case by a call from an audience member for someone [ed. William Ayers, the Timothy McVeigh of the 70s] to be killed. These aren’t just isolated individuals; these sentiments are common at these rallies and becoming increasingly virulent and enraged.
Well thank God this is the first we’re seeing of virulent enraged groups this decade. Otherwise, if they’d engaged in the exact behavoir for the past 8 years, the left would have absolutely no moral authority to make this argument.
Thank God George Bush was never called a Nazi because of his bloodline or his name.
And if it wasn’t clear that the two paragraphs above were sarcasm, allow me to point out how it’s entirely impossible that these people shouting “terrorist” at the mention of Obama’s name are Moveon.org plants at McCain rallies.
