Man Leaves Bomb In Philadelphia Parking Garage

Police found a Molotov cocktail style bomb, anti-Israel / pro-Palestinian literature and an Arabic dictionary in a Center City Philadelphia parking garage near the Department of Homeland Security and ICE offices after being called to check on a suspicious man in the area.

This can only be the work of angry anti-government Timothy McVeigh types that should be profiled immediately.  Someone call Janet Incompetano.  I hear that, although the guy left on his own before police arrived and has not yet been apprehended, she thinks the system worked splendidly.

The discovery was made at about 2:00 p.m. Wednesday inside a garage located at Callowhill and N. 16th Streets.

Don’t worry, though.  Authorities know who the guy is, because he left behind his identification. Just like they knew who Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was for the month and a half before he tried to blow up Flight 253 with his underpants.

After 9 hours he’s still not been caught. Obviously, the system worked.  Solid B+.

Strangely, although witnesses described the would-be Molotov cocktailer and his identification was left at the scene, neither piece of information makes it into any version of the story that I’ve seen.  Seems like it would be useful for the public to be on the lookout for him.  Don’t police usually release the name and photo of a wanted subject so people can, you know, help them find him?

Investigators said the man left behind anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian books and documentation, along with an Arabic dictionary.

Captain Wilson said they know exactly who the individual is because he left behind his laptop and his identification.

So far, no arrests have been made. The incident remains under police investigation.
