Kill The Messenger: ACORN Sues Journalists

Corrupt left-wing agitation group ACORN has filed suit against the journalists who shot and published a video showing employees of the group giving advice on importing under-aged illegal immigrants for the purpose of a prostitution ring and hiding the ill-gotten funds from the IRS.

ACORN claims that the two employees, Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams, suffered “extreme emotional distress.”

The suit alleges that the undercover journalists needed consent from the ACORN employees to record their voices under Maryland law.

The multimillion-dollar lawsuit seeks damages from James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles, who played the pimp and prostitute in the videos, and from conservative columnist Andrew Breitbart, who posted the videos on his Web site.

Earlier today, the IRS severed all ties with ACORN, which has apparently given tax advice to about 25,000 people. Both the US Senate and US House of Representatives have voted to de-fund the corrupt organization over the past few weeks, while Democrats in the Pennsylvania House voted to continue funding the group’s activities in the state.

    Bring it On ! ! !

    There is the motion of discovery that both plaintiffs and defendants can declare when a lawsuit has been filed.

    This could really flush out information that the MSM has not reported on: voter registration issues, voter intimidation in Philadelphia that AG Holder has squashed, I would not be surprised at tax evasion at all levels; just to name a few.

    The lawsuit may drag on beyond the 2010 elections but the MSM will be listening as it is played out.
