I’m guessing that Bucks County authorities have quite a day ahead of them. Although it’s been widely reported in the media that reality whores Jon and Kate Gosselin of ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′ filed divorce papers in Bucks County court, the Courier-Times reports it’s not true.
[O]fficials at the [Bucks County] Domestic Relations division [at] the courthouse this morning say that no such papers were filed.
Apparently, the couple and the 8 children they pimp on television live in Berks County, not Bucks. That’s OK, we’ve got enough bizarre parenting in Bucks County to go around.

I don’t think it was a matter of mistaking Berks for Bucks. They did file in the area, just in Montgomery County, not Bucks. They don’t own property there, they did it because Montgomery keeps those records sealed. (I read somewhere that in PA, the level of disclosure for divorce proceedings can be dependent upon county policy and Montgomery County seals their records.)
Ah…they did it for the privacy. Should have known – it’s so like them to keep their heads down.
