Here are the incomplete thoughts I had while watching Michelle Obama’s Democrat Convention speech:
Acting. So much acting.
Over-rehearsed down to every last ‘you see’ and planned ‘uhh.’ Every fake sniffle and vocal inflection.
Telling the “community organizer” story, saying ‘he said’ referring to Obama but sounding like she’s reading scripture
Doesn’t sound like being a community organizer really qualifies you for anything besides maybe getting signatures on a petition
Why did they cut to a shot of Biden when she mentioned mental health?
“That is why I love this country,” and a split second before a roomful of libs know how to react. Classic.
Really? Vote for Obama because he never felt the affirming embrace of a father’s love.
Is he running for Oprah in chief or commander in chief? I feel great and all, but that’s not kicking the Ruskies out of Georgia or killing any terrorists.
Are those A Cups? No offense, but this is 2008.
Oh, no. The perfunctory “cute out of control kids” segment.
If they knew what they were doing, they’d have put her on early and uncle Ted on late.
