Reporters like to report things that no other reporter has, NOT because the details are relevant to the story, but simply to prove they have ‘insider’ access to the person or persons they are covering.
Too often, “leaks” are a function of the reporter’s ego … and adds little to the story.
Cameron was simply used in this case to dish dirt on Sarah Palin…
I don’t believe for one second it was ex-Romney people. Romney has absolutely NO motivation for such ugliness…. and besides underlings usually follow the patterns and leads of their boss, and I just don’t see Romney as vindictive or hurtful like that.
I DO, however, see a big vindictive streak in McCain’s personality and that of his people … especially as they suddenly realized how badly they were outmaneuvered and beaten by Obama strategists.
For the past eight years, McCain used ever bit of his power and influence (and votes) to screw up President Bush….. and in large sense succeeded as the national reporting press made it a HUGE issue every time McCain opposed GWB the “leader of his own party”
If McCain has the vindictiveness to screw with President Bush, he certainly has enough to screw with Sarah Palin.

I’m totally confused as to whether the real leaker has come forward.
And did Cameron get hoaxed, or was he reporting based on a hoaxer??
I’m totally lost on this… even though I’m not sure why I should even care about leaks from vindictive McCain aids at this point.
