The liberal assault on free speech isn’t limited to threatening to reinstate the so-called Fairness Doctrine. It’s going on right now on the supposedly un-regulated Internet, where supporters of Barack Hussein Obama are reporting anti-Obama blogs hosted on Google’s Blogger service as spam, causing Google to apparently automatically shut them down for review.
Unable to compete in the marketplace of ideas, Obama’s supporters decided they are going to have to do their best to shut off the marketplace of ideas.
That’s change you can believe in.
I’ve been reading about this a number of places over the weekend, and Bloggasm has a pretty detailed report about one blogger’s experience at finding herself locked out of her 3-year old blog that was suddenly flagged as spam:
“At first I thought it was just this random thing with Blogger’s spam bots,” [Carissa Snedeker of Blue Lyon] told [Bloggasm] in a phone interview. “I thought that perhaps in their looking across the blogger universe, that I got accidentally flagged somehow. Stuff like that happens.”
But a short time later Snedeker received an email from another blogger claiming that a number of anti-Obama blogs had been “hacked” that same night. After some digging it became apparent that several Blogspot accounts had been shut down because of similar spam issues, and nearly all of them had three things in common: Most were pro-Hillary Clinton blogs, all were anti-Barack Obama, and several were listed on justsaynodeal.com, an anti-Obama website.
This is among the many reasons why it’s worth it to register your own domain name, download free Wordpress, get your own hosting, and rely on no one to get your message out.
