CNN reports that a group of masked protesters rushed into the road in an attempt to block a motorcade that included Vice Presidential candidate Governor Sarah Palin as it moved through Grand Junction Colorado on Monday.
Motorcade routes are traditionally kept free of traffic and motorcades are allowed to run uninterrupted because stops along a motorcade route increase the risk of assassination attempts. The purpose of the Obama supporters’ attempt to block the Palin motorcade is unclear.
The incident — just feet from the car carrying Palin — was captured on video by CNN affiliate KKCO-TV.
Eight to 10 protesters broke away from a larger group of demonstrators and darted into the street in front of Palin’s car just after the first police motorcycles in her motorcade had passed, said Acting Chief Troy Smith of the Grand Junction Police Department.
Wearing bandanas (sic) and with their faces covered, the protesters blocked the path and held up a large banner. Officers stopped their motorcycles, grabbed the protesters and dragged several out of the path of the oncoming motorcade.

Smith said officers saved the protesters from injury because “the motorcade likely would not have stopped” for them. He said “we don’t know what their intentions were” in trying to block Palin’s motorcade.
In September, Barack Obama advised a gathering of supporters that they should argue with non-believers and “get in their face.”
I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.

What good did those Iraqi insurgents do when they charged at the 82nd armored tank divisions in 2003 Baghdad with only a rifle?
What good did the ’68 Vietcong fighters do when they tied cords around their upper arms and legs to prevent blood loss, and then charged at US Marine machine gunners in wave after wave of swarmed attacks.
The mindset of these people who charged the McCain motorcade has been molded and shaped by anti-capitalism distortions taught to them over the years by their teachers, by guilt-ridden Hollywood writers, and by 90% of the ‘hard-news’ reporters …. most of whom frame every initial story in a way that demonizes decent conservatives and respectable faith-loving groups.
In reality, the Eurocentric, civil society, pro-capitalism men and women of America are what makes this country so desirable to live in.
Take away them… take away the churches…. take away Judeo-Christian attitudes in America… and you destroy everything that makes this country the fabulous place it is to live and raise a family.
