What upsets Bucks Residents

Vince,
Thanks for listing the length of time this 46% tax increase has occurred. Now for the other part of my previous question: what does this 46% increase work out to in dollars and cents? It has to be rather small for me not to have taken notice. Jim Cawley has not been a commissioner since 2001, in dollars and cents what is his part of this increase?

Joe,
to be honest ,my taxes now are almost $6,000 for the 2 we get, and when i moved here 7 years ago! i was paying $4,500 so it went up $1,500 in 7 years! For Jim Cawley he is the other Republican Voice so he has a vote . If not i apologize to him but for sure it is Charlie Martin.

Vince,
Let's try yet again. Please place a dollars and cents figure on this 46% tax increase that you claim from the county. What you have so far listed is the school district and the township increases, the county has nothing to do with that. The county is the smallest portion of any tax increase we receive, the school district, because of the greedy teachers, is the largest, the township is in the middle. Now, please, tell me the figure of this 46% tax increase from the county, and DO NOT list what the school district and township has cost us since 2001, we can discuss that next.

Joe ,
can you explain it now , because the information i have in front of me , states that Charlie Martin and Jim Cawley are behind that 46% increase!
How about the lost land 35,000 acres? who is behind that.

Why won't you just answer Joe's questions, Vincent? Stop changing the subject. What does this 46% county tax increase over 7 years amount to in dollars and cents? Just answer it.

Steven , Joe, i dont know exactly,
but i do know ,
we lost 35,000 to developers
I do know we were going to spend 140 million on a court house , and we spent $4.6 million before 1 brick was laid,i dont know how that is going now do you?
Please answer that?
I do know the County Government budget rose $109.7 million since 2002 more then $47, million in 2 years, then Charlie Martin said [I seldom read the entire budget] Can you think why. Steven im not changeing the subject , but can you tell me about theese as well? Its tough because someone else always want to say more and more.

We lost nothing. I guarantee if you drive past those 35,000 acres, they're still there. Some people might even call them "Homes that people live in and stores that people shop in." I guess we should all live in the wilderness, make our own clothes, and grow our own food?

If you could write a coherent sentence we might be able to address the issues you raise. $109.7 million in 6 years? Let's see. That's $18,283,333.33 a year divided by Bucks County's 600,000 residents: $30.47 a year per person. Wow. We're going down! Grab a life vest.

Vince,
What is the information that you have in front of you? Please tell me what it says about the 46% tax increase, and list what it says about the county commissioners raising our local and school taxes. :?

Hey Vincent:

Does your figure of a 46% tax increase mean that the county increased the tax rate by that much, or is it a function of increased property values.... which obviously would increase the amount of tax paid on that increased value.

Nixon used to say that 'liers never figure, but figures sure can lie' (or something like that) .....

And in this case, Vincent, I think he was referring to your attempt at math.

Because if property values in Bucks County went UP the past eight years ..... and if the aggregate amount of taxes collected on those more valuable properties DIDN'T go up, then Democrats like yourself would be screaming bloody murder about "the rich getting richer" along with other class envy baloney.

Did you know the Democrats in my town raised taxes by 47% --

You know what else? I just offered as much proof as you did with your "46%" accusation against the county GOP.

So please, go sit in traffic and wait for your Obama tax cut "for 95% of Americans" or whatever his bait and switch promise you choose to dream about.

And please don't quote the Courier toilet paper. Ain't one person in their entire news loop that doesn't base their story angles on Democrat talking points. (they have a rule at the CT... only one non-liberal is allowed to work there each decade .... and they already met their quota for the past 10 years.)

I wish I were being facetious, but unfortunately I'm not.
