In honor of Joe Biden’s upcoming speech to the NAACP convention, let’s remember that special moment in 2007 when he bragged that he’d spent the previous summer trying to convince “black men” that it was OK to wear condoms and remind black women that it was actually OK to say no to sex once in a while.
As a bonus, he also provides one of the few publicly available details of Barack Obama’s medical history in the process.
Let’s not forget the time he seemed amazed that for “the first time,” a “bright and articulate and clean” black man, Barack Obama, was running in the Presidential primaries.
And, while we’re at it, a bonus track: Joe Biden complains that you can’t go into a 7-11 in his district unless you have a “slight Indian accent.”
