Final Battleground Poll: Zero 50.2% - Hero 48.3%

The Battleground poll, non-partisan because it is run by a Democrat pollster and Republican pollster who cancel each other out, shows Barack Obama going in to election day with a slim lead over John McCain.

Considering that spread, it is entirely possible (likely, even) that we could see a McCain Electoral College victory.  Obama leads heavily populated California by 20+ and heavily populated New York by 25+.  No matter how badly McCain gets trounced in CA and NY, he gets only 86 Electoral votes out of them.

For John McCain to be within 1.9% nationally, it shows he is making up ground in a lot of states.

None of these polls are taking into account the massive Republican turn out the biased media and socialist Democrat candidate are causing.  This could be the tipping point to push McCain into a win even in the popular vote.

Every vote, especially here in PA, matters.  Please brave the lines and go vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin today. A vote for McCain / Palin isn’t just a vote against “spreading the wealth around” socialism, it’s a vote against the corrupt media.  Don’t forget your down ticket Republicans as a firewall against Pelosi and Reid.

While you’re at it, find a way to get polled by exit pollsters.  Republicans tend to avoid them, but a strong Republican showing in exit polls will keep the media from incorrectly calling states before everyone has had a chance to vote.

I hope your predictions are correct… there is an awful lot of voter turn-out this morning. I voted in Hilltown and the wait 45-50 minutes showing up at 7AM sharp.

Note to readers: Hilltown went 60-40 for Fitzpatrick in 2006. Rendell and Swann were abnormally close there compared to the rest of the state, too. This was in an election with a big Democrat turnout advantage. Heavy turn out in Hilltown may be a good thing for Republicans.
