According to documents released at BigGovernment.com, Barack Obama’s voter fraud and bank intimidation unit ACORN is not legally allowed to operate in the state of Maryland.

The documents, dated September 15, 2009 and signed by Paul B. Anderson of the state’s Charters Division, show that the corporate charter of ACORN Inc was revoked in 2006 and that the corporate charter for ACORN Housing was revoked in 2008.

Independent journalists James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles released hidden-camera video showing officials from ACORN Housing’s Baltimore Maryland office instructing the pair about how to set up a prostitution ring using illegal alien minors and hide the proceeds from the IRS and claim the sex slaves as dependents last week.  If the documents provided by Maryland are accurate, that office may have been operating illegally.

At BigGovernment.com, reporter Mike Roman notes

The Maryland Attorney General has made noise about prosecuting the intrepid journalists who undercovered (sic or play on words) the misdeeds of ACORN employees. Perhaps he should focus instead on how ACORN was able to operate without a license in his state.

State-run television networks and newspapers have largely ignored the story, despite last night’s 83-7 vote in the US Senate to stop funding ACORN’s housing unit.  This morning, Charlie Gibson, who is one of three people to anchor a nightly newscast on a major US broadcast network, admitted he hadn’t heard about the controversy, which began last week.

In just the 5 days since it was established, Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government web site has performed more actual journalism, and made more of an impact, than most other media outlets combined.

The news stories have been out there all along, but state-run media has not wanted to touch them because they are bound to damage Barack Obama.  Obama organized for ACORN, trained ACORN organizers, and acted as ACORN’s lawyer as they successfully intimidated banks into giving loans to unqualified borrowers (ACORN vs. Edgar), which caused our current economic mess.

ACORN seems to have returned the favor when they allegedly performed massive voter fraud to try to help Obama get elected last November.
