Democrats May March To Protest Own Failed Policies

Eager to get in on all this Tea Partying that’s been going around, a group of Congressional Democrats are threatening to march on Washington to protest their own failed President and the failed policies instituted under their overwhelming Congressional majority.

About that protest thing…I think you’re doing it wrong or something.  The people in power don’t have to protest. They can actually do things.

(CNN) – Members of President Obama’s own political party are charging that the White House and the Democratic Congressional leadership are not doing enough to help the unemployed and are threatening to organize a march on Washington of jobless Americans.

“Obviously there’s something that’s not getting through to them,” said Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Illinois. “And we’re going to let the White House and everybody who’s concerned know that we have got people in our districts who are depending on us to deliver for them.”

Rush and Reps. Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, and Candice Miller, R-Michigan, chair the new Congressional “Jobs Now Caucus,” which is comprised of 112 Democrats and 17 Republicans.

Patrick Murphy’s Congressmomma Nancy Pelosi did all she really can do: Blame the administration that has been out of town for a year.

“We continue to work with all members of the caucus and with the Administration to build on the recovery package and other initiatives to help create jobs and grow our economy after years of mismanagement by the Bush administration.”

Hmmm…I seem to remember the economy being pretty darned good right up until January 2007 or so, when Patrick Murphy and Nancy Pelosi swung into power because a Congress dude from Florida wrote some dirty words to another dude via email and we just couldn’t have that.

If George Bush is at fault for signing it, why are Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama not at fault for spending it?
