Crooked Pennsylvania Democrat Congressman John Murtha is dead.
The Congressman died after being admitted to the hospital last week for complications that followed from gall bladder surgery Murtha underwent a couple of weeks ago.
Murtha’s main claim to fame is being an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the 1980 ABSCAM investigation, although he later regained prominence for rampant earmark abuse, questionable campaign contributions, and calling Marines cold blooded killers without evidence after the trumped up Haditha charges against them came to light.
Think I’m being cruel? Murtha was such a well-known corruptocrat that even ABC News had to mention it when reporting his death.
Murtha’s congressional career was clouded by questions about his ethics — from the Abscam corruption probe in 1980 to more recent investigations into the special-interest spending known as earmarks and the raising of cash for election campaigns.
PA-8 Democrat Congressman Patrick Murphy, who has campaign finance problems of his own, called Murtha his “political role model.”

Rep Murtha’s meeting with God would be one to watch. A lot to be held accountable for.
I agree; John “The Corruptible” Murtha escaped criminal judgement while a living member of the human race. He now will stand in judgement, as we all will, in front of the All-mighty; I hope his spiritual life was in better shape than his political unindicted crimes. May God have mercy on his soul.
