In 2006, the Courier Times served as a conduit to the Murphy campaign by giving them all info about events, times, places, etc. given to the paper by the Fitzpatrick campaign.

Fitz' press spokesman, a former Courier reporter, repeatedly told me she could "trust" the paper, and that she would convince them to stop breaking confidence.

No such luck.

Every single thing Fitz had planned, every place he went, was dogged by protesters and lackies from the Murphy campaign, MoveON.nutjobs, and other nefarious types.

When confronted, Brien Scheid, the CT reporter, said he preferred having the two sides together in the same place because it was "easier for me to get quotes."

I've got no ill will against you guys gathering for Murphy, campaigning for Murphy, volunteering for Murphy, rooting for Murphy, whatever.

The villain in this post is the BCCT, who purported to present a story about Bucks residents' reaction to the speech when it was really the reaction of a roomful or two of Murphy supporters. It's just deception. They don't even try to appear to be an objective organization interested in journalism.

Heck, why should the Courier Times bother getting the other points of view about military attorney Patrick Murphy?

Everyone knows that Murphy is a combat war hero beloved and respected by all, don't they?
