Some people look at Joe Biden and see a slick, shifty used-car salesman. I can kind of see that. I look at Joe Biden and see a loudmouthed drunken uncle, probably your mother’s brother, who grabs the DJ’s microphone at the wedding reception and sloshes on about his life story, how much he loves everyone and everything, and how it’s such a beautiful night and event.
You just sit there and stare into your soup, going back and forth between embarrassed and annoyed. You dare not try to stop him from making a fool of himself, because you know there’s an equal chance that he will either begin weeping openly or will take a swing at you.
That’s what I see when I look at Joe Biden. The video below doesn’t help.
