On NBC’s Meet The Press yesterday, Vice President “Slow Joe” Biden stopped just one small step short of admitting that the trillion-plus dollar “stimulus” package rammed into law by the Obama Administration and Democrats in Congress is a failure.
When talking about how the economy is still shedding jobs faster than an Alaskan Malamute sheds hair, “Sheriff” Biden admitted “everyone guessed wrong” when it came to the impact the “stimulus” would have.
“Everyone?” No. Maybe every Democrat. Only three Republicans in all of Congress, all Senators and including one who is now a Democrat, voted for the “stimulus.” They didn’t “guess wrong.” They got it right.
Conservative commentators, under heavy fire from Republican “moderate” commentators preaching the “go along to get along” line, all railed against the “stimulus.” They didn’t “guess wrong.”
The thousands of average Americans who took to the streets to air their views about their tax dollars lining a latrine hole of wasteful Obama spending in maligned “Tea Party Protests” last April didn’t “guess wrong.”
Maybe the one party who controls the government and the media shouldn’t have been “guessing” about what to do when faced with a flagging economy, and they wouldn’t have made it worse.
