I’m all for promoting Eric Massa, the Democrat Congressman who resigned Monday behind the disgrace of an ethics investigation on allegations he sexually harassed a male staffer, as far as it gets us in demonizing and dirtying up the public perception of the corrupt White House and Democrats in Congress. Any fat, balding port in a storm.
Apparently, Massa is scheduled to be the guest on Glenn Beck’s FOX News show Tuesday (as Larry King would say) FOR DA FULL OWAHHH.
Michelle Malkin reminds us, however, that we’re not the first to use Massa as a useful idiot in furthering our political agenda. As vitriolic as Massa has been about Rahm Emmanuel and the bribery and strong arming going on to pass the disasterous health care plan, he was just as nasty about Republicans and, specifically, Rush Limbaugh.
[Early Massa backer] Gen. [Wesley] Clark , you may recall, was also the speech-stifling zealot who led the backdoor “Fairness Doctrine” drive to kick Rush Limbaugh off of Armed Forces Radio in 2007. The pretext for that censorship campaign was Harry Reid and the Left’s false claim that Rush had “smeared” American troops because he dared to mention the disturbing trend of phony, anti-war soldiers like the infamous Jesse MacBeth (see here and here for refresher courses on Winter Soldier Syndrome). You may remember that Rush turned the Democrats’ attack on its head and raised millions of dollars to benefit the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation by auctioning off Reid’s bully letter.
Well, here’s another reminder that the relentlessly opportunistic Massa chimed in on the side of Clark, Reid, and the leftists providing cover for anti-war fraudsters like MacBeth and his ilk. In fact, he recorded a YouTube campaign spot attacking Rush that as of 11:40pm Eastern tonight, was still featured on his MassaforCongress channel:
Alleged sexual predator Massa also had the interesting fortune of debuting an ad featuring proven sex pervert Eliot Spitzer one day before Spitzer resigned as Governor of New York.
So, as we promote Massa’s stories because they further our agenda, let’s not forget that he’s still a Democrat with all the sleaze that entails.

Kind of like the Scott Brown, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, backing Sen. MCain in the primary over JD Hayworth? Conservatives or just out for money and power?
Remember former McCain supporter Republican Gov. Cristy Todd Whittman of New Jersey was on MSNBC stating that when we come out of this economic downturn McCain and the like Progressive Republicans would pass Cap and Trade, but with todays
economic state it wouldn’t get done.
