am stunned that there is absolutely no plan from the RNC to combat Barack Obama’s upcoming 30 minute infomercial. Although it may not be the deciding factor of the election, it is 30 minutes of uninterrupted, unopposed Obamaganda on all major networks
On October 27, 1964, Ronald Reagan took to the airwaves for a half-hour of advertising time paid for by the Goldwater campaign and delivered an address to the nation called “A Time For Choosing,” also known as “The Speech.” Reagan had been delivering versions of the address, modified at times to reflect new information, during the entire campaign, most notably at the Republican National Convention in San Francisco.
The speech was a clear, concise and logical recitation of conservative ideals and values as well as a specific contrast between Democrat President Lyndon Johnson and Republican challenger Barry Goldwater.
Although Goldwater eventually lost the election, conservatism won. The speech launched Reagan’s political career (in a time when political careers weren’t launched in terrorists’ living rooms). The speech raised $1 million for the Goldwater campaign. Based on the popularity of the address, Reagan was urged to run for Governor of California; a position he won and retained until his first run for the Presidency.
It is viewed as the genesis of the conservative movement in American politics; the moment the Republican party began moving from the country club to main street.
Barack Obama is set to address the nation this week. We don’t know if that infomercial will be similar to Reagan’s “A Time for Choosing” address.
We need an updated “A Time For Choosing” for 2008.
We need a credible communicator – I’d choose Fred Thompson – to deliver a clear, concise outline of the dramatic differences between a McCain administration and an Obama administration.
Video of Reagan’s monumental address is here. Full text of the Reagan address is here.
There is too much at stake to let Obama’s message go unchallenged.

“We are 99% sure that we will have a MAJOR visit by Senator John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin on Tuesday, October 28th at Ouakertown Memorial Park Baseball Stadium on Mill Road in Quakertown. As with every Presidential Candidate Event, all schedules are subject to change. However, we feel very confident that this event will take place.
The doors open at 10:30 AM and the program begins at 12:30 PM. We want to give the Committee People the first opportunity to serve as volunteers for the event and to get tickets. We will need volunteers to act as drivers and help with the event.

Bucks County is in play, my friends. So is Pennsylvania, if people vote their conscious and reject this anti-American….. ObamaFraud.
After church today, nicely produced pamphlets questioning the morality of voting for pro-Abortion candidates were stuck under the wipers of all cars in the parking lot.
They wery tastefully done, with logical arguments against supporting any actions which cause the death or destruction of innocents.
For example, the pamphlet said, if you were driving your car and saw someone walking along that you knew was heading to the bank to steal cash and shoot the teller, would you offer to give that man a ride to the bank??
Or if you saw someone walking along the road that you knew was gonna be a lookout for a bank robber, or was gonna give police a false description of which way the thief ran after the robbery …. would you willingly offer him a ride?
Or would you consider yourself an accomplice in the bank robbery?

I’m glad that those who value morals in America are getting involved in politics and in this election.
For too long, hypocrite newspaper writers and editorialists have been demanding that Christians, Jews, or any one of devout moral-based faith must stay out of the public political square due to this distorted concept of “seperation of church and state.”
In reality, if members of love-filled Judeo-Christian churches and/or synagogues would get MORE involved in the daily grind of governing, this country would be much better off.
Instead, many faithful feel embarassed to pronounce their faith out of some fear of being laughed and criticized, or worst mocked and accused of being akin to the Taliban.
